Perfect Fresh Pasta

We are delighted to welcome back the talented and charismatic Mariella Bliss to the Dancing Trousers kitchen. Mariella grew up just south of Naples in a traditional Italian family where home-cooking and a passion for good food was a big part of life. She has been sharing that passion in and around Oxfordshire for over 12 years, with cookery classes, private cheffing and her own range of food products.

Mariella joins us for this relaxed and fun workshop, to share her love of fresh pasta. She'll teach you foolproof methods of making smooth, silky dough from scratch, both with and without eggs. You'll begin with making hand-made shapes including spirals and sombreros!


Then it's on to the pasta machines and Mariella has lots of tips for getting the best results. You'll turn your dough into tagliatelle and quickly move on to use it to form square and round ravioli, half moons (mezzelune), tortelloni and more.

You’ll sit down with your fellow cooks to a feast of fresh pasta, lots of chatter, sociability and maybe a little Dean Martin playing in the background! And we'll send you home with a parcel of fresh pasta too.
