Course Date Saturday 24 February Course Time 9:15 AM - 1:30 PM

When we think of curry we immediately think of India, but curries are made wherever spices are grown or traded, from the Caribbean in the West to South East Asia and even Japan in the East.

Styles vary from those fragrant with lemongrass and galangal, to thick gravies of creamy coconut and rich onion and tomato that can accompany a range of fish, meat and vegetables. Join our guest chef Peter Lien to make curry pastes from scratch and spice blends to produce some fantastic aromatic dishes from all over the world. You'll be working as a group to produce the following dishes:

South African beef bobotie
Jamaican lamb curry
Middle Eastern chicken curry
Malaysian prawn and pineapple curry
Japanese katsu curry

You'll have a mid morning coffee break with freshly baked biscuits and at the end of the cooking (approximately 1.30pm), you'll sit down to enjoy your curries of the world with your fellow cooks. Places are limited so book now for this spicy and fragrant gastronomic journey.

We are sorry but the event is now fully booked
